1 Overview: hydrogen peroxide is a highly effective disinfectant with broad spectrum, high efficiency, quick effect, non-toxic, corrosive to metals and fabrics, greatly affected by organic substances, good stability of pure products, unstable diluent, etc
2 Scope of application: It is applicable to the disinfection of surgical plants made of acrylic resin, contact lenses, heat-resistant plastic tableware, clothing, drinking water, oral gargling and surgical wound cleaning.
3 Usage
Disinfection solution preparation According to the effective content and dilution law, dilute hydrogen peroxide to the required concentration with sterilized distilled water.
(2) Disinfection treatment: commonly used disinfection methods include soaking, wiping, etc
D Soaking method: immerse the cleaned and dried articles to be disinfected in the container containing 3% hydrogen peroxide, cover and soak for 30min
2 Wiping method: large articles or other articles that cannot be disinfected by immersion method shall be disinfected by wiping method.
3 Other methods: mouthwash with 1-15% hydrogen peroxide; Rinse the wound with 3% hydrogen peroxide
4 Precautions
(1) Hydrogen peroxide should be stored in a cool and windy place, and the effective content should be determined before use
(2) The diluent is unstable and prepared before use.
(3) When preparing solution, do not mix with reducing agent, alkali and iodide. Mixed with strong oxidants such as potassium permanganate
(4) Hydrogen peroxide is corrosive to metals and has bleaching effect on fabrics
(5) When using the concentrated solution, be careful not to splash it into the eyes or on the skin and mucous membrane. Once it is splashed, immediately wash it with clean water
(6) When disinfecting articles contaminated by blood, pus, etc., the action time should be appropriately extended.
